Open Options supported the development of a China-wide strategy that included an entire product review, and the identification of potential partners and acquisition targets within the country’s state-owned enterprises.
Open Options recently teamed with Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH), a large US-based consultancy, to look at the future of health information technology (health IT) in the US. In particular, the purpose of the study was to examine the transition from the current data-poor health-care environment in the US to a future data-rich environment, including electronic health records, personal health records, registries and electronic prescribing, and to assess the motivations and likely actions of the various players involved.
